Five child care tips to help your child to fall asleep

  1. Bath time, cleaning teeth, story time and a cuddle before bed will help to relax your infant .
  2. Talk quietly or sing a gentle lullaby to ease your infant into sleep.
  3. Ensure that your child is adequately clothed, especially for sleeping.
  4. Make sure the bedding is properly fitted on the crib or bed, and that the temperature is comfortable to provide comfort and a secure feeling.
  5. Position your infant child on his/her back in the crib. This will provide a calm and peaceful environment, creating a smooth transition to bedtime.
